Walker scores 60, Butler 3 in OT wins it

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) JJ Redick jokingly bet new 76ers teammate Jimmy Butler on the bench that he wouldn't call "game" on the final shot.

Butler responded with "bet."

Butler, in his third game with his new team, drained a 3-pointer as time expired in overtime and Philadelphia overcame an NBA season-high 60 points from Kemba Walker to beat the Charlotte Hornets 122-119 on Saturday night.


Oladipo injures knee in Pacers' win

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) With All-Star Victor Oladipo out for most of the game, the Pacers relied on a veteran and a rookie to put away the Hawks.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 points, hitting a late 3-pointer and a pair of free throws to seal the win, as Indiana beat Atlanta 97-89 on Saturday night.


Davis' 40 get surging Pelicans by Denver

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Anthony Davis had 10 field goals for New Orleans against Denver on Saturday night. That's not a bad total, but it doesn't begin to tell the whole story about how he carried the Pelicans.

Davis added 20-for-21 shooting from the free throw line and finished with 40 points, eight rebounds and eight assists as the Pelicans defeated the Nuggets 125-115 Saturday night.


George has 32 as Thunder win 10th in 11

PHOENIX (AP) Still without Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder keep winning.

Paul George scored 32 points, Steven Adams added 26 and the Thunder beat the Phoenix Suns 110-100 on Saturday night, their 10th victory in 11 games.


Harden's 34 help Rockets push run to 4

HOUSTON (AP) Houston's offense continues to improve, and the Rockets keep on winning.

James Harden had 34 points and eight assists, and the Rockets used a big first-half run on the way to their fourth straight victory, a 132-112 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.


Vucevic scores 36, Magic end Lakers' run

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) There was a closer on the floor when the Lakers faced the Magic, and it wasn't LeBron James.

Nikola Vucevic had 36 points, including eight straight in a crucial stretch of the fourth quarter, and Orlando beat Los Angeles 130-117 on Saturday night, ending the Lakers' four-game winning streak.


Doncic gets Mavs by shorthanded Warriors

DALLAS (AP) Luka Doncic gave the Dallas Mavericks a glimpse of an exciting future - and extended a bad week for the Golden State Warriors.

The rookie scored 24 points, including a short jumper that put Dallas in front for good, and the Mavericks beat the Warriors 112-109 on Saturday night.


Mitchell bounces back as Jazz beat Celts

BOSTON (AP) Donovan Mitchell was much more efficient leading Utah in scoring this time.

Mitchell had 28 points and six assists, bouncing back from one of his worst performances of the season and leading the Jazz to a 98-86 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday night.


Raptors rest Leonard but still rip Bulls

CHICAGO (AP) With Kawhi Leonard sitting out, Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse inserted Fred VanVleet into the starting lineup Saturday night hoping it would snap the reserve guard out of a recent funk.

Mission accomplished.


Clippers rally past Nets, win 4th in row

NEW YORK (AP) Montrezl Harrell provided a big lift for the Los Angeles Clippers in the fourth quarter.

Mom was pretty impressed.
