1/18/2018 Zach LaVine, Chi, G
Zach LaVine scored five points Wednesday on 2-of-12 shooting as the Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. LaVine grabbed three rebounds and had two assists, tallying a plus-minus of -16 in his 19:59 on the floor. He tacked on one steal. LaVine struggled from 3-point range, coming up empty on all five of his attempts.

Analysis: LaVine had come out of the gate hot in his return from ACL surgery, knocking down 12 of 21 shot attempts while totaling 32 points over his first two games back. This is a reminder that there will still be some bumps in his recovery, but the good news is there's better things to come once his minute restrictions are eventually lifted.
1/18/2018 Robin Lopez, Chi, C
Robin Lopez scored 16 points Wednesday, going 8 of 11 from the field, as the Chicago Bulls fell to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Lopez pulled down four rebounds and did not have an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -28 in his 22:06 on the floor.

Analysis: Lopez is on a nice four-game scoring run, having averaged 14.5 points while shooting 60 percent or better from the field in each of those contests. The dependable center is now averaging a career-high 12.7 points per game for the season, though his rebounding and block numbers remain down from their usual levels.
1/18/2018 Justin Holiday, Chi, G-F
Justin Holiday scored eight points Wednesday on 2-of-12 shooting as the Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Holiday grabbed six rebounds and did not have an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -22 in his 32:42 of playing time. Holiday went 2 of 8 from behind the arc.

Analysis: Holiday was coming off a 25-point performance Monday against the Heat in which he finished 7 of 11 from 3-point range, but found the defending world champions to be a considerably tougher assignment. Though he's turned in a few duds of late, the well-traveled guard is still averaging a solid 15.3 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting an excellent 47.5 percent (29 of 61) on 3-pointers in January.
1/18/2018 Nikola Mirotic, Chi, F
Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points Wednesday, going 9 of 13 from the field, as the Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Mirotic pulled down six rebounds and dished out three assists, tallying a plus-minus of +25 in his 27:26 on the floor. He added one block and three steals. Mirotic went 4 of 7 from behind the arc.

Analysis: Mirotic was on target in this one, much like he's been most of the time since returning from his infamous fight with teammate Bobby Portis. The stretch forward has now hit at least three triples in all three games since coming back from a recent illness, and he's averaging 19.3 points and 5.7 rebounds during that span as well.
1/18/2018 Lauri Markkanen, Chi, PF
Lauri Markkanen scored 11 points Wednesday, going 4 of 12 from the field, as the Chicago Bulls lost to the Golden State Warriors 119-112. Markkanen pulled down eight rebounds and had two assists, tallying a plus-minus of -33 in his 29:02 of playing time. He added one block. Markkanen went 2 of 7 from behind the arc.
1/18/2018 Klay Thompson, GS, G-F
Klay Thompson scored a season-high 38 points Wednesday on 12-of-22 shooting as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 119-112. Thompson grabbed four rebounds and had two assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +14 in his 37:10 of playing time. He added one block. Thompson went 7 of 13 from 3-point range.

Analysis: It's Thompson's first 30-point effort since he dropped 33 on the Pelicans on Oct. 20, the second game of the season. The three-time All-Star has still been awfully steady in the time between, though he entered this contest in a mild slump by averaging 16.8 points and shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc over his previous five games.
1/18/2018 Jordan Bell, GS, F-C
Bell sprained his left ankle during the opening minute of the Warriors' 119-112 win over the Bulls on Wednesday and did not return.

Analysis: The Warriors announced that X-rays were negative, though Bell was spotted on crutches and in a walking boot when he returned from the locker room. With the rookie looking at a multi-game absence and Draymond Green still dealing with a sore shoulder, Kevon Looney could find himself in the starting lineup for Saturday's anticipated matchup with the Rockets.
1/18/2018 Stephen Curry, GS, G
Stephen Curry scored 30 points Wednesday on 10-of-18 shooting as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Chicago Bulls 119-112. Curry grabbed nine rebounds and had four assists, tallying a plus-minus of +21 in his 34:55 of playing time. He added one steal. Curry went 6 of 11 from 3-point range.

Analysis: Another big-time performance from the world's greatest shooter, who's connecting at a sensational 56.1 percent clip from the field and 51.1 percent (45 of 88) from beyond the arc in eight games since first returning from an ankle injury on Dec. 30. During that time frame Curry is averaging 31.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds.
1/18/2018 Kevin Durant, GS, F
Kevin Durant scored 19 points Wednesday on 6-of-15 shooting as the Golden State Warriors topped the Chicago Bulls 119-112. Durant pulled down eight rebounds and dished out seven assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +21 in his 35:17 of playing time. He added one steal. Durant struggled from 3-point range, coming up empty on all five of his attempts.

Analysis: After averaging 30.8 points on a sizzling .608 field goal percentage over his first four games back from a strained calf, Durant delivered what would be called an off night by his standards. He still managed to make an impact in the rebound and assist columns, though, and chances are the four-time scoring champ will put up plenty of points in what should be a fast-paced game at Houston on Saturday.
1/18/2018 Richard Jefferson, Den, G-F
Richard Jefferson went scoreless Wednesday, going 0 of 1 from the field, as the Denver Nuggets lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 109-104. Jefferson pulled down three rebounds and added an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -8 in his 15:05 of playing time.

1/18/2018 Tyrone Wallace, LAC, SG
Tyrone Wallace scored nine points Wednesday, going 4 of 10 from the field, as the Los Angeles Clippers topped the Denver Nuggets 109-104. 1/18/2018 Jawun Evans, LAC, PG
Jawun Evans scored six points Wednesday, going 3 of 4 from the field, as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Denver Nuggets 109-104. Evans grabbed four rebounds and dished out three assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -2 in his 15:51 on the floor.
1/18/2018 Mason Plumlee, Den, F-C
Mason Plumlee scored 16 points Wednesday on 7-of-14 shooting as the Denver Nuggets fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 109-104. Plumlee grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds and had two assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -5 in his 30:39 on the floor. He added three steals.

Analysis: Double-doubles haven't been the norm for Plumlee this season, with this being his second in 45 games. The reserve center still isn't a recommended fantasy option most nights as long as Nikola Jokic is in the lineup.
1/18/2018 Will Barton, Den, G-F
Will Barton scored 17 points Wednesday, going 7 of 15 from the field, as the Denver Nuggets fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 109-104. Barton grabbed six rebounds and dished out six assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -6 in his 34:58 of playing time. He added two blocks and one steal. Barton went 1 of 5 from behind the arc.

Analysis: Barton has now started three of Denver's last four games and has posted at least 17 points and five rebounds in each of those contests. Jamal Murray (concussion) isn't expected to return for Friday's game with the Suns, so Barton should have another opportunity to put up strong numbers while running the point.
